Greater Miami and the Beaches New Year's Eve Celebrations
The Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Miami City Hall. Mayor Tomas Regalado, along with City Commissioners, City Manager, employees, and many children from the area, will celebrate the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Miami City Hall, on Friday, December 7th, 2013, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. The event is free and open to the public.
The celebration will feature a parade with Miami Northwestern Senior High School Band and Miami Senior High School Million Dollar Band, the City of Miami Police and Fire Departments, the Coca Cola Vintage Truck and the Miami Dolphins Truck. There will also be holiday performances by Coconut Grove Cares, Inc., the Sun Flower Academy, Barnyard Community Center and Ruben Campbell. And of course, a visit by the favorite of children and old alike, SANTA!

Enjoy free fireworks at midnight on the beach at Ocean Drive and 8th Street as Miami Beach rings in the New Year. The Orange Drive Music Festival's New Year's Eve Jam on the Sand features live musical performances between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Holiday Evenings at Vizcaya Dec 18, 2013
Did you know that James Deering first moved into Vizcaya on Christmas Day, 1916? At the time decorating for Christmas was much simpler than it is today-join us to see holiday décor in the Main House as Deering might have done it. Hear traditional holiday music played on Vizcaya's custom-built pipe organ and indulge in classic holiday treats as part of the evening's festivities. Tickets $25; available onsite beginning at 5:30 the evening of the program 6:00-9:30 p.m., Main House. In the Café and Shop, fulfill your last minute shopping needs while enjoying a glass of wine and a bite to eat, available for purchase.
